As the crow flies south from Alicante there are lots of small towns and various urbanisations along the Mediterranean – one of these is Torrevieja.
Just south of Torrevieja, an eight minute drive and about an hours walk along the beach, is the urbanisation of Rocio del Mar.
Rocio del Mar is located in the popular area of Punta Prima on the Costa Blanca.
Right by the beach and close to many restaurants, bars, supermarkets, pharmacies and lots more amenities, Rocio del Mar is a convenient and appealing location for holidays on the Costa Blanca.
This luxury villa at Pleamar 30 is a 3-minute walk to the sea 💦, where you can turn either left or right and potter along rock pools, stretches of sand, rocky coves, and lovely enclosed bays, which are ideal for snorkelling. Great for kids!!
My personal favourite is Palm Tree Bay where it is quite peaceful and the bay is wide and shallow enough for kids to spend hours in the sea watching the fish 🐡 🐠 🐟.
If you love to take a stroll along the sea you can walk from Rocio del Mar left along the sea towards Torrevieja or right along the sea past the bays, there is a scenic coastal path that connects with the seaside resorts of Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig and Campoamor.
There are a range of restaurants and bars in either direction including the renown Nautilus restaurant, where you can enjoy lunch or a cocktail overlooking the sea.
If you are up for the longer walk into Torrevieja, within about 45 minutes along the sea you will pass more beaches, restaurants, cafes and bars.
When you book your holiday at Pleamar 30 there is so much to do, as well as chill if you prefer, when you come here to stay for your holiday getaway!
